Field Games was inspired by the glass doors at the famed Willow Tea Rooms in Glasgow, Scotland, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1903. Field Games echoes Mackintosh’s eclectic blend of art nouveau, modernist, Scottish and Japanese influences. A larger version of this tile was created by Motawi Tileworks as an LPGA tournament trophy, but you don’t have to win a pro golf tournament to get this one!
Motawi tiles are striking individual art pieces as much as functional tile installation accents. Each one is made by hand and with heart in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
