Georgia O'Keeffe
Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986) was an American artist best known for her paintings of enlarged flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. O'Keeffe has been recognized as the "Mother of American modernism." O'Keeffe's paintings Jimson Weed (1936), Grey Hills (1942), and Pelvis with the Distance (1943) are in the collections of the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields.
