In the 1880s, painter Vincent van Gogh (Dutch, 1853-1890) started a series of sunflower paintings which have now become famous icons and are one of the most instantly recognizable paintings of our time.

Crafted from noble metals and natural gemstones by jewelry artist Michael Michaud, these earrings are both inspired by and cast straight from nature, capturing every intricate detail. Each sunflower is cast in bronze with a gold leaf finish. Textural druzy stones sit in the centers of the flowers like tiny, sparkling seeds. A 16" string of coco-colored freshwater pearls compliments the pendant with additional natural charm.
